I told one of my Koa suppliers I wanted some of the strange stuff. Told him what I needed were pieces that were really bold and unusual. He sent me a box of koa with a short note that said "Strange enough for you?"
The figure on most of these blocks is so intense you could rub them on the sidewalk to sand them and then smear them with bacon fat for a finish and they would still look good. This is natural wood, it has not been stabilized. Some of these pieces are big enough that you could get a big fat butt bowie or 2 or 3 regular knife handles.
I am pricing them all the same for 1 day at $60 each with Free US Shipping. International shipping is $10 or Free if you buy 2 or more.
This is lower than most of these would normally be priced. If I sell these fast I can buy another batch my supplier has set aside for me. End of the day Tuesday I will close the thread and price them at regular prices and place them in my webstore.
