Yep...we have a good game, and I'm pulling for the Saints. I'm a Bear fan, so I don't need to see Favre win another Super Bowl with a different team in the same division.

What's new folks......this academy is killing me....

No friggin down time to swim through the forum, saves me money from buying new knives, but miss the comments

Almost there :)

For those that reload - all done on Rock Chucker - flash hole uniformed / brass trimmed to 1.750" / inspected / 25.2gr of H335 -/ 55gr Hornady / Lee Factory Crimp Die.

The ammo box it starting to get heavy.

Pauli, that is just cool!

What do you think it costs you, component wise, to put out 1000 rounds?
Just curious, as I have been doing alot of math lately, well, actually ever since momma got her new gun.

Pepper

Here's a breakdown for loading 1k of .223 - Canadian Prices - Load is somewhat equivalent to XM193

- Brass - free range pick up or saved brass when I was buying ammo
- Primers - $34
- Bullets - (Hornady 55gr FMJ bulk) $125
- Powder - 7000gr in a pound 25.2gr in each case 3.6lb at - $29lb - $104

- Total - $263

Check out the price of components around your area and apply to those numbers to get exact cost.

Now the re-loading gear is some cash outlay at the beginning but it will pay for itself. Start on a single stage or get a Dillon 550 and start cranking.

large what do you think of the 47

the TGI '74 is great! i cleaned all the cosmoline off her lastnight and i'm impressed. The wood is surplus, so it has some character. I planned on refinishing it, but after i got it i kinda dig the battlefield look. otherwise, the rest of the rifle is new, built on bulgarian machines. the weld that originally held the muzzle brake on has been removed and the paint touched up, but it isn't the cleanest job i've seen. the finish is even and the sights are straight. the chrome barrel was the big selling point for me since all of the cheap ammo is corrosive. overall its a great value for $400:thumbup::thumbup::D

The Lancaster has a stainless steel barrel. Do you think, or have you heard, that the chrome are better? With the corrosive ammo it is hard to know.
