the TGI '74 is great! i cleaned all the cosmoline off her lastnight and i'm impressed. The wood is surplus, so it has some character. I planned on refinishing it, but after i got it i kinda dig the battlefield look. otherwise, the rest of the rifle is new, built on bulgarian machines. the weld that originally held the muzzle brake on has been removed and the paint touched up, but it isn't the cleanest job i've seen. the finish is even and the sights are straight. the chrome barrel was the big selling point for me since all of the cheap ammo is corrosive. overall its a great value for $400:thumbup::thumbup:![]()
