maybe your good vibes are rubbin off on em Mike!

Ahhh, they have good days and bad days. But I know that for some of them hanging out with me for 40 minutes, will be the best part of their day. So I feel a great deal of satisfaction from the job I have.

Plus, some of them are truly hilarious. One sixth grader came up to my aid last week and said that "it smells like ass" in a completely nonchalant manner. Same fella decided to flick off his entire baseball team because he thought they were "doggin it"! Good stuff. He is just one of many classics who are out there.

Jeremy, you need to post that reflection pic of the Compound in my sunrise/sunset thread.
It is a really great shot, though I have no idea how to find it amidst all the Platinum clubs.

i split some wood today.... here is a wrong tool ... right tool senario.. just sayin,, lol..

Good for your Jerm. I gotta get my aZZ back on the treadmill and start hittin the heavy bag again. I was wrestling with my brother in law a few weeks ago, and I was way too sore the next day. Granted he was a state wrestler in high school, but I shouldn't be sore from 15 minutes of that. Maybe my tampon thievery and subsequent embarrassment was a subliminal message telling myself that I'm soft. I hope your diet is continuing as well Guyon. We could all learn a thing or two about fitness from RLarge. Mr. I'm in shape police officer!

Hopefully everyone had a good day. My students had a great day, and I did not have a single fight to break up, a kid to write up, or hear an racial or gay slur....today was a good day.

I feel ya. I just recently started working out again after being a lazy fatass for 3-4 years and the recovery is not what I remember from being in my 20s. In the morning I walk around hunched like I'm 85! :o

J- That sword is drool inspiring!

Good for you Sleeve....I am sure within a week or two you'll be feeling great. Unfortunately, as we get older our recovery time is a bit extended. Keep it up man. Maybe a new dog will help to ensure you keep exercising as they need that run!

And ya...Jerm that short sword is impressive. Looking forward to seeing what she looks like when completed.

Evening folks
that blade looks like a winner Jeremy

You got that right!
have a glass of chocolate milk (real, like oberweiss or some other quality brand)
after a good workout (within 20 minutes)
that will do wonders for your recovery.
I still use this recovery power sometimes, but the chocolate milk is
almost the same,and WAY cheaper!
Anywho,keep exercising,its fun ;)
plus,if you ever get sick, your recovery
will be much faster.
