Evening,
Smoke and Prayers. Positive mind set is amazing,,,, Over 10 years ago my friends Mom had exploritory surgery, the docs found a tumor around her heart( she was awake and saw it as well)they told her 2 weeks to say goodbye,, She told them to zip her up and F-off " I am to busy with my grand kids to go now" she learned about visualization and positive mind set. They don't know how but she beat it big time. I saw her last week and she tired me out just talking about her day. I know each case is different but it is a story that I think about often. (hope I don't sound preachy just wanted to share a positive story that has helped me) Thank you, God bless and good night
 
Earthquake here at 4am. It was a 4.3 and shook the hole house for a few seconds. The funny thing is my dog Buddy tried waking me and my wife up several times before it happened. The first thing that goes through your head at 2am isn't "what is it Buddy, a earthquake". Next time I'll listen. I just spent the last half hour petting him and telling him he is a good dog. He is asleep now, so all is well.

Ya that was crazy Bushcraft. My wife was freaked out for a bit, but I told her it was probably just a small earthquake. I'm glad it was not any larger, as I doubt our house was built to withstand such an event.

I'm glad all is well for the family hipboots.
 
Earthquakes, man I hope the New Madrid stays togother, I'm glad everyone is doin better I skipped the gym. Gotta go get firewood for the shop while the ground is frozen, see u guys after while,

No one is in danger in a 4.3. It is just kinda scary getting woken up like that. It does make me focus more on being prepared. I did have my TK40 and Horton Chopper next to the bed though.:thumbup:

my friend has been released from the hospital!
of course she will have to go back pretty regularly for checkups and such, and in 6 months another surgury to deal with the other anuerisms...... but for now, healthy enough to go home!!!

thanks to everyone for their smoke and prayers, I know it made a difference!
