Cheers mang,,, I'm taking notes and gathering the courage to take a shot at it,,, now to find me a not-so-valuable knife :D

BTW, is it easier to learn by starting with an allready convexed blade like a Horton or BRKT ? Or best to learn the basics from scratch by convexing a non-convex blade ?

Goooood Morning!

rutmi01,
if what jeremy says is right,
maybe you can use it to remove the decarb layer on
a Hellrazor and Jackhammer?

Sounds good Jeremy. Thanks for the info. I am no pro, so I am sure I'll drink it at some point. I doubt I'll be able to tell that it is old.

No Hellrazor or Jackhammers for me...so into the belly it is.

If you're doing it by hand you'll be OK either way since you won't be going too fast to damage anything beyond repair :D

If you have a convex - by all means do it first!

You'll do fine - but I warn you - If you reprofile you will want a machine to do the next one ;) Google Kalamazoo now, just so you know :D

Anyone into the Spring/Winter Olympics? I have always liked the WO's.

Lotsa real talent!

Pauli - you there?

Yep, I'm a fan of the WO as well. Too bad Canada has not had the snow that is typical for the area. Regardless, it is an exciting Olympics.
