Thank you sir. Aside from a light for my duty belt, I'm looking for a new weapon light for my carbine. I have an upgraded 6p with malkoff drop in in a larue mount that works pretty well. I've also been using tlr1s's mounted on the 12 oclock rail, but after having the 4th one in a year shit the bed last week, its time for a new solution. I like the setup in the larue mount ok, but it doesn't work very well when I shoot from my support shoulder because its almost impossible to activate the light. I like the tlr1s because it was ambidextrous, but they just aren't tough enough. With all of the folks making "offset" mounts, you'd think someone would make a low profile "in-set" mount that rides right between the rails. for me something at 1:30 would be awesome! any ideas? I might just end up with an x300....
Could possibly make a frankenlight with this mount. Just a suggestion, not sure what your allowed to do as a cop. Only mount I've ran into that is offset,,,

yeah I was looking at that one last night. seems like a good start, but I don't know what to mount on it. I'm not very impressed with surefires stuff in relation to "bang for the buck". I wonder if I could mount another brand of light onto that? Seems like quark, fenix, jetbeam, olight, etc have some lights that leave surefire in the dust. I like the fenix pd31 and even the pd20. If I could get something that size mounted down in between rails that would be awesome. Reason being is this light is going on an SBR (11.5" barrel and 10" rail) and I don't want the head of the light out in front of the muzzle, so it will need to be recessed down into the rail, so I can just hold over the light when shooting support shoulder. I think I need to rig something so it mounts to the slots in the gap between the rails rather that to the actual rails themselves. also, I don't like the curly tape switches that they sell for the fenix lights.
eta I like the jetbeam bc20 as well.
Horton you're a machinist. Can this be done??
Sinus problems. Uuuh
This is new knife weather for sure but I am getting a new leather sectional today to bone on with the lady. Can't wait.
Just received my cold steel shovel. Pretty darn nice for $20. I got the cover too, better than I expected. Got it from cutlery shoppe, if you go from nutnfancy's page to there you get free priority shipping.
I did. Wear respirator. Mostly
