Afternoon men.Waiting for the 6 to 8 inches of snow we are suppose to get tonight. WTF I guess winter is going out like a lion.

Rlarge, would this be up your alley? Of course you would still need a ring to mount but those are easy to find. This is what I currently run,

Thanks for the idea, but I'm looking for something lower in profile like my last pics. I have a feeling it'll be a custom job to recess the light down into the rail

Ah. Well I don't want to take away from the machinists here but something like this,
MCTAR-02.gif
modified with some washers inside the forearm and utilizing the holes in the forearm itself would let you secure it pretty much nut to butt with the rifle. Meaning it would fit into the "cross" shape if you will that you have in the 2 o'clock section the forearm. If that makes any sense.

Another good idea ob1 but that doesn't get low enough either. Think zip ties- but made out of metal. Any kind of a platform ( railed or otherwise) is just building up the distance that the light sits off of the forearm.

Thats about what i'm looking at fug. we'll see if anyone can come up with something better.
ps i bought the olight m20s. anyone know if a blackhawk or surefire holster will hold this light for my duty belt?

Morning guys.
Stay safe you all.
Remember to check the "shit happens" bag once in a wile.

Rick
Just dawned on me
How about velcro?
po_3305_bulk_lg.jpg

this isnt the sticky tape/glue type

I use this stuff all the time. If you get 2 inches of overlap, that thing isnt gonna come
off till you want it to.
Soft so it wont mar the finish,
easy to remove so you can use the light on your belt
no tools required
sounds idea to me?
