For anybody in the states... check Craigslist. I bought a toaster oven for $10 just for kydex.

Quick question. Will a G2 take any sort of drop-in that would go in a 6P?
 
I think they are a bit limited on the super high powered drop ins due to heat. I am not sure where the cutoff is.

I thought as much after seeing this note about the LED version...

Effective immediately, the G2 LED flashlight in black (Product Model Number G2L-BK) will be produced and shipped with an aluminum bezel.

This change is an enhancement to the existing product. With the aluminum bezel the G2L-BK dissipates heat more efficiently, allowing for higher output. The G2L-BK with the aluminum bezel starts at a maximum output of 120 lumens and sustains a regulated output of 60 lumens. The total runtime of 12 hours will remain the same.
