I'm having a nice day. 13 mile hike with the dog. Whole park mostly to ourselves. Tonight my oldest son comes over for a few beers.

I smashed my notebook screen on Friday, so today, I bought a 17" LCD monitor + USB keyboard and am using the ntb as a classic mini-tower, closed w/ the monitor standing on it. Can't do much further damage to it I think. Well this brand new monitor has a defective pixel - you know it, the green dot that's always there. F**k it, I'm not gonna travel to the other end of the city again to have it replaced. I'm keeping it and gonna use it till it burns or gets smashed by accident again.
