Maybe I can deliver something positive, even if it concerns just me... :o I turned my life upside down with the new job. Look and enjoy.

I'm staiyng in a very small village in a pension with a bar during the working week. Today, I tried to count the houses here - less than 30.

I'm in the heart of the nature here. This watchtower is 500 steps from the pension (the forest is even closer), the view around gives you the idea of the landscape here:

The forests are awesome here. My today's stroll after the work:

The work after these 3 days seems to be very interesting, and very demanding. So far, I'm stoked just by the fact it's new and that I'm working with smart people. Def. way smarter than in the previous job. It's really no piece of cake, I gotta learn a helluva pile of difficult things and catch up quick. But hey, see my sig line :D
I just hope my GF copes with me not being with her Monday through Friday. So far, she's been quite career oriented, enjoys her job, and is happy for me getting a good job, too. I hope I'll manage and the company stays in business :D

Nothing good going on here. Was talking to J for a little bit yesterday on the phone, had like three people trying to beep in while talking, all unknown numbers. Blew them off while talking to the man. Called up after the quick conversation with J to find out that my lil cousin (23y/o) who just took a good management job had went out and bought a new Harley. Sad part is that on his first ride out, a 16y/o girl pulled out in front of him and he didn't stand a chance. DOA. Not the news I wanted to hear my first day back in the states.

Sorry to hear about your loss Cabra, smoke I have left sent.

I almost just posted a frowny face. I never know what to say about these things ... guess I can just offer my useless condolences.

I know a lot of good people, old and young, who have checked out recently. It's put a shadow over my life.

I am jealous Filip. Looks beautiful where you are staying and there looks to be some nice mountain biking single track in those woods. Carpe diem. Congrats on the new job.

Thanks, guys. I'll try my best to stay here :)
Ob1, there are many bikers here, the terrain is perfect for MTB. I just have to figure out where to store my bike. I think I'll just put it in my bed :D

If the owner allows drilling the hooks in the ceiling :) Seriously, I'll bring a stand and find a place for it, it must be possible...

Oh, 0:21 already! Gotta go to sleep. Good night, gentlemen!

Her guys.... I need a new optic to go on my new Galil clone. Anyone have anything theyer not using? like to have a short low powered scope or a red dot..........

Brian, is your wife throwing out any scopes this week?

THANKS GUYS

Man sorry to hear about the motorcycle death. Carto had a old man try to kill him with a car as well. Deer are primarily re reason I got rid of mine.
.

As far as inexpensive red dots. All I would try is Primary Arms. I have 2. They are not great but pretty tough. The recoil of the Galil is pretty light.

Sorry to hear about your cousin xgrunt. So sad to hear about things like this. Today is my Friday and tomorrow I'm heading up north with the family to get our river excursion on. Then off to Pittsburgh on Sunday for some learnin'. Have a good weekend boys. Be safe.

Mornin all. Crazy busy work day. Also just got another job. Installing beer draft systems. Going to meet with the owner tomorrow and figure out a schedule and start training. Going to be fun stuff. Glad to be out working doing mechanical things once again. Have a good one everyone.

That's great, congrats, man! After today, I think I'd enjoy manual work better, too :) My brain is exhausted

It does feel good to have something to do that gets me away from the BS that surrounds me every day trying to run this place. 30 years old and a GM of a packing and shipping company with a very small workforce is stressful. Plus I don't get paid what I am worth here. Breaks of a family business I suppose.
