I have a '71 SS and listen to street survivors all the time. No bonus points for me though. Bellbottoms were before my time by a minute. :D

awesome:thumbup: we have a few bellbottom warriors here though if they are brave enough to admit it..

I saw Skynyrd play in Phil Waldens backyard in Macon,Ga,1974. (Capricorn Records owner)...Sadly the details are foggy.

Damn! Had lots of good times back in the day when that album came out

and yes I was probably wearing bell bottoms, platforms, wide belt, gauze shirt, or maybe my polyester leisure suit ;):D

You even have the classic album Plucker  I had same in 8 track at one time

Great music for great times!

Woooops, just realized me and momma are together 9 years today,,,

,,, I better buy her a BIG X-mass prezzie :o

The 70"s were a helluva time to be a teenager!!

I can neither confirm nor deny. I've been well trained ... ;)

Bad. Weather.

Same here. 10" of fresh snow, still falling, the road maintainance doesn't catch up. Guess what's the traffic doing? :D

(I should have noted at the begining that I work 15 km out of Prague by the most important and most frequent road in our country. I have a good view on it about 100 meters from my office. A very sad view.)

An almost uncontrolled, drifting and sliding 40-ton truck doesn't have to go fast to look helpless and threatening at the same time...

As for boots, I wear Meindl's:

Daily on my way to work and back, in the town and such:

In both cases, Gore-Tex is the shit
Hadn't I bought these two pairs this year, I'd be seriously interested in the Danner's you ordered, gentlemen.

I've heard those a nice boots Filip and was considering purchasing some, but the Danner deal came along and made my decision for me

I'll report how they hold on in a few years, Bruce :D I got them for a bargain, too, I'd think twice if I had to pay the full price for them...
I wore the cheapest Gore-Tex Italian AKU trekking boots before, they served me well for 10 years... Then they started to leak, so they're still good to go in dry weather.
Meindl's are said to be a significantly higher level, we'll see :)
