Coffee

I've got some of the stuff I need to finish my package and plan on picking the rest up over the weekend. Hopefully it should be in the mail by early next week.

Looking forward to seeing what everybody gets.

A little bird told me that you may be getting something tomorrow. Word to the wise.

That's sensitive information! Did you know John works at my local post office and he now has my address?

:p:D

Seriously though, thanks for the heads up. I will definitely follow your previous advice.

Yeah, we're colluding....! Haha nah it'll be good.

It's good! So far that's 2 things I didn't think I liked that are great! I'm also really enjoying that blade steel.

I went for round 2 today, it burns the tongue a bit.. hoping to stave off this cold/flu I feel coming on tho lol

2" of the white stuff here...but the package made it out and the supposed to be there Monday.

Looks like the birdie got held up in some weather.... next week it is!

That's a relief! I just checked for it after getting home from work and didn't see it anywhere. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Nothing to see here.

My package arrived this morning. As per Joshua's request (and my impatience;)), I promptly opened it. Don't think I could have waited anyway after smelling the freshly roasted coffee through the box.

I gotta say, I wasn't expecting this much coffee!

Also included was a coffee infuser, a nice heavy stoneware mug from his coffee shop, and an Austin Goldman knife in AEB-L.

I already made a large carafe of coffee from the Mzuzu and shared it with a couple of friends. We all enjoyed it very much and it didn't last long either. I also currently have a batch of cold brew going with the Mexican-Altura Chiapas.

The package arrived just in time for me to reuse the box and get my secret santa gifts shipped out this afternoon. It should arrive in a couple days, weather permitting. Thanks again to Joshua for the wonderful gifts and to John for getting this whole thing started and organized. It's been fun on both the giving and receiving side.

I got my S.S. package today. First of all, Thank you very much Ryan for you wonderful gifts. I didn't envy the person who drew my name because I delete most of my posts after awhile and knowing what I like would be hard to figure out. I've spent countless hours playing cribbage...This is the nicest board I've ever seen. Colombian coffee is always in our standard rotation and one of our favorites. Now for the Kershaw...This is the first time I've held or had a flipper. I'm very impressed. I got into collecting Knives with the intent to buy a couple of nice knives from my teen years (1970's) to give to my son (now 9). I will fondle this a few times...oil her up and save this for my son (Kengo). This is a very special gift...... thank you so much.
