Coffee

The stuff you sent in the SS exchange was the first time I had any. It was definitely my favorite of the 4, although all of them were really good. I was tempted to order more than just 2lbs.

It's a nice complex coffee without being to fringe, that being the really acidic stuff or super polarizing fruity stuff. It took me a few tries to get the roast on it right, I wish I had more but my distributor is out :(.

I've been at the Hartford (in spirit) the last four mornings drinking this.

Thanks again DannyP

I've very much enjoyed this coffee exchange! Started in on the Kenya yesterday, and it's quite good. Deep, dark, coffee goodness!!! :D

I'm glad you like the Kenya I also thought it was really good, just opened the Sulawesi today! It's smoooooth seems closely related to Sumatra but stands well on it's own, it had a really solid medium body with kind of an earthy note but not dirty, do like :)

I opened the Blue Bottle stuff last night. It might be the best coffee I have had. Just wonderful stuff!!! Thank you Mr. Thompson!!

I have always been a fan of Seattle's Best, and my go-to is their Spirited Start Breakfast Blend. Not too rich, very balanced taste, and just the right amount of kick to get your day going.

Aside from that, I enjoy Gate's Best Bean (yes Gate, the gas station), or S&D. S&D is really popular in restaurants, and it's a great coffee to pour over ice. Being a cook for 10 years, I came to appreciate iced black coffee :D

Thanks John!

Danny P, This morning I ordered 5# of coffee from Coffee Bean Direct. I'll let you know how their roasted beans are(2 1/2# of Hawaiian Kona Blend and 2 1/2# of Jamaican Blue Mountain Style). Thanks for bringing them to my attention.

I've had good luck with them.
Free shipping over 50 bucks I think, and they don't pester me with spam. A definite plus.
Prices are decent and I use 1/3 cup of beans pre-grind at a sitting, that's 3 times a day so I go through quite a bit so price is rather important for my "utility" coffees.
And the beans are decent and seem to be consistent.

Barman1, Thanks for encouragement. I also go through 1 cup of beans a day( 1 pot)."Free shipping over 50 bucks".....thats right. Have you had these kind yet?(2 1/2# of Hawaiian Kona Blend and 2 1/2# of Jamaican Blue Mountain Style)
