Coffee

About to start making my own kombucha and I was thinking of doing one using coffee instead of tea o_O Any of you guys make kombucha

Hey guys, I finally received an extra bag of my favourite local coffee and I would love to share. I am wondering if anyone would be up for a trade of coffe along with a very gently used 60-70$ knife. I am located in Canada. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks.
Josh

Sorry I couldn't make it there.:( I'm sure it was more fun than being at work.

It was great to meet you Mono! Danny, we will see how the weekend goes and perhaps we can all meet up on our way back. And Josh, I will connect with you in a few days.

Not at the moment but maybe in a month or two! Ryan said he would connect with you in a few days so I think he might want to, but stick around for a while either way we do the swaps every so often : )

Sorry I thought you were replying to my trade post. Didn't realize you were just saying "hey"

Hello to you too and thanks for the welcome from all of you guys. I do plan on sticking around.

Hi Josh, There are some great Guys in the coffee group. I was fortunate enough to meet up with Monofletch last Thursday. You won't find a nicer Guy. Thanks for the road snacks Mono..they hit the spot on the way home. And a special THANKS to Ryan for putting up with me for the weekend.

Drinking some coffee from Peru today bought blind from Joe Bean I'm happy to report that they've reduced their prices on most of their beans, it's a really interesting coffee not very complex a bit chocolaty but not dark they put 'milk chocolate' as a characteristic on the label and I'd have to agree, I was kind of hoping for similar to a good Colombian since I only have limited experience with the Peru, it's not unlike but smoother, less acidic, the mouth feel reminds me of Indonesians kind of medium-full bodied & creamy like whole milk, I probably wouldn't run to buy another bag but it has a lot of things I like in a coffee, hope you all have a good coffee fueled day : )

I am enjoying the enjoyment!!

Just drinking some of the Joe Bean you sent me now after getting home from work, GotSteel. It was a surprise that I've enjoyed the Kenya more than the Ethiopia. It's usually the other way around based on my experience with coffee from those regions. They are both pretty good, though. Here is a cup of the Kenya Karimikui with my newest acquisition.
