Coffee

Other gift exchanges I have done on here had a set limit. You were told to only expect a gift worth $xx. Going over that limit was up to the gifter.
All gifts had to arrive a week before Christmas. Half the fun is the wait with the unknown sitting in front of you for a whole week. Gifts open Christmas Eve with pics of contents. It will be fun!

Hi fellas,

I tried my first cup of Peets MD this morning, using a coffee press. I must say, I really enjoyed it. It has a really nice aftertaste, although I can't tell exactly that it is that was so nice. I haven't yet tried the coffee Ben sent, but I will tomorrow.

Tom Ferry, Radical. 1 of 16 made, Nitrogen N360 blade.
Jameson Brown Roasters, Pasadena, Ca. Ethiopian Derar Ela.

The milling and holes where inspired by the picatinny rails on a AR. Tom and several other knife makers were testing their folders out on water bottles. Tom's Radical sliced through the water bottle and got stuck around 2" into the thick corner edge of a hard plastic folding table. Upon inspection, to everyone's amazement, the folder still was in the exact shape as before. No bending of the lock pin or lock bar, no blade play and no blade damage. A real testament to the superior knife making skills of a master maker.

Thanks. It went better than expected.
I made sure to fill my Thermos this morning.

P.E. you are like the neighbor kid that got all the cool toys for Christmas.
Thanks, but the collections is far from complete. It might stay incomplete though with all of the instagram/facebook knife newbies driving up the prices in the secondary market 75%+.
