What do you think of that Mantra?
I'm on the fence but I'd really like to handle one first or get an informed opinion on the size at least.
For a comparison, the Southard flipper is too small and the Brous Bionic is way too small. The Mantra appears to be maybe a bit bigger than the Bionic??
What a win for the Seahawks!!!

There are some great posts in this thread. Welcome aboard. That was an incredible game! Had there been just a little bit more time on the clock yesterday, I honestly feel that the Seahawks would've pulled off another last second miraculous playoff victory.
On topic: I went to a local cinema here in Carlsbad (one of those fancy ones with recliners beer/wine & food). We watched the movie: The Hateful Eight. Coffee was pretty much the central theme in this Wyoming, high country haberdashery.
There are currently 86 pages of coffee resources in this thread. FWIW I've been drinking Starbucks French Roast, for the past 10 or so years (I buy the bags in the grocery store & grind my own beans). Any suggestions, for a new bold, tasty brand of F.R. coffee for me to try- it's time for a change?
I'll come back here another time, & post a picture of my hopefully newfound coffee & a knife. Awesome thread!
After having really good coffee- custom roasted for me- gas station and fast food tastes bad. Folgers and Maxwell House seem sub par. I am not a coffee snob, but I like what I like.

I agree. It's not an option reverting back to drinking canned coffee, once you've experienced the richer, more flavorful blends.
BTW- I'm up to page 4. I figure maybe I'll read about 5 pages a day. There are so many informative posts that I've read so far- makes me want to try a few different brands of coffee, & perhaps even trying something other than dark roasts. The one thing that I've come to realize reading this thread: the fact that water (filtered or distilled), is an important ingredient to good, smooth tasting coffee. Lately, I've been using San Diego tap water (our water tastes horrible), instead of bottled water. I'm guessing this explains why, I'm not enjoying the flavor of my morning coffee, like I used to?
Awesome thread!
