Cold steel 2014

$200 is MSRP, retail will be closer to half of that. Also, I don't think they are finished posting their 2014 lineup yet.
 
Just saw on the FB page that theres more stuff coming , I'll hold out till I see the complete lineup
 
The hybrid 1917 cutlass is cool I was thinking about getting the regular one but I like this one a little bit more. The eland looks like it's gonna be another good loaner/give away knife that won't break the bank and can stash a few here and there. I really like the man at arms series idea I'm hoping for a katana type sword to go in that series. That bowie looks good but I'll wait till I see the reviews before I buy. So far so good can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
 
Mmmm this new cold steel Line up looks promising, planning on snatching up the MAA hand and a half sword, and a halberd if I Can find one at a decent price. strangely enough no knives interest me so far.
 
So far I like the Frontier Bowie, and the Brooklyn Shorty is also not bad.....looking forward to what the rest of the new line up will look like.
 
I'm waiting for more folders. Swords aren't something I buy very often, and if I do, I'll want a more historically accurate version, so I'd have to buy the pricier versions anyway, rather than these new ones. Trainers don't interest me at all, and at least for now, knife throwing isn't something I'm especially interested in, so the new throwers don't call to me either. I'll definitely get an Eland though, the Kudu is nifty and a larger Kudu sounds nifty too.

Upnorth I guess it depends on what you are interested in. Last year we released a lot of new folders as well as many additions to existing series (larger and smaller versions of the Recon etc). This year is most certainly the year of the sword.
We make a lot more than just knives, and while knives will always remain our first love, we have a huge following of people that enjoy our swords, spears, axes and other more diverse items.
