A while ago I posted about my new cold steel VT90 tomahawk, and how it chipped from light use on a piece of driftwood. I sent it in, and after waiting for two months I contacted their customer service rep, who told me that it had been sent back a month previous! I live in a bad area and it must have been a goddamned tweeker who snagged it from my porch. When I told this to the customer service rep, he immediately filed a UPS claim because UPS shouldn't be leaving things without a signature and sent me another VT90.
So for what it's worth you can be confident that cold steel stands behind their product and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is cool.
