Cold Steel Kudu Review

Nice review. Its got me considering picking up an Eland and Kudu.

Update:
Just ordered a Ti-lite and decided to throw a Kudu into the cart thanks to this review.

Update again:

Kudu is a very nice knife for the price. The thing cuts like a laser.

So, it's 2020. Cold Steel Kudu is now around $10. I got one while it was still made of 4116 Krupp. It is now 5Cr15MoV, which is similar to 4116, but probably easier for their Chinese manufacturer to source. When you consider the size, lock strength, and materials, I think this is the best performance/price ratio for a folding knife EVER. The edge was razor sharp out of the box, and the Kudu made a feather stick as easily as my best Scandi ground knives. Also, there is now a slip joint version of this knife that is the same size as the locking version.

I never got one of these 'cause of the funky lock , but probably worth the price . :)
