Do any of you guys had any expirience with this knife? It looks sick, but how does it perform?

It's not out yet. Spoke with a CS rep yesterday and he said they will be getting a shipment in in about 2 weeks. So maybe shortly thereafter, giving the fact that the knife must work its way through distribution channels before getting to any CS dealers.

Correction.

A Dealer in my area has obtained one of the first ones. He snapped it open and the liner went all the way over. So, he was told to free it with a screwdriver, and he sent it back instead.

It might have been a Promotional Item but he has had his hands on one and he says it is a very neat knife. Apparently he got a "bum" one.

We got about 10 in and filled back orders with them. I couldn't keep one for myself but will do so when they become readily available late this month. The knife is balanced perfectly. That means that you can open it as fast as a switchblade with just the thumb stud and no wrist action. Fit and finish are excellent. One return (expected a switchblade) and no complaints from the few customers that received them from us. I'll definitely put one in my own collection as soon as I can. Hope this helps.

And tomorrow when you wake up it will be worse.

I wasn't that impressed. If felt flimsy to me. It might be good as a collector's piece, but I wouldn't use it. Just my opinion...

Chris

Chris,

How did it feel "flimsy?" Do you mean like in weight? Because if so, I thought the same about Benchmade's M42 BaliSong and it is very strong.

Or was the one you handled a rattletrap or something?

"Sick"? Sorry guys, I guess its not a word used throughout the whole country. Im from San Diego, and sick is surfer talk for cool.

Metalica - I think it's more of a problem of generation than location... "Sick" is a relatively recent (last 5 years or so) term, used almost exclusively among teenagers and the younger generation.

This means the majority of old bastids on here have no idea what you meant

Both. Plus, the blade just seems very thin (width, not thickness of stock). I just don't see it being very sturdy of normal use, of course, that probablhy isn't it's intended use.

Bugs - I don't really think it looks like a Mad Maxx, but i can see a certin resemblance if i look hard....

It resembles the classic stilleto pattern more, as far as i can see...

2Sharp - since you brought it up I now have to ask: How old are you? FWIW some of that could be regional. I was 18 when I moved from San Diego to San Francisco and that's when I learned the (here/now) common usage of the word "sick" as a compliment. I also learned new words like "phat" "tight" and "hella" which weren't used in SD. My misunderstanding at that point was regional, not generational. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that certain words are used differently in San Diego than they are in Sweden.

Metalica - What part of SD are you in? I lived in PQ.

So, anyone know how much these Ti-Lites are going to be going for? And, is it a liner lock or a frame lock?
