All 3 of my CS purchase this year had held up.
Recon scout - decent chopper for the size, had to used the foling saw to help it along on bigger trees. Easy to sharpern, fair priced.
Roach belly, used it all season for turkey hunting. Cleared small saplings for shooting lanes, dig up wild leeks and cutting top off fiddleheads. Once again, easy to sharpen in field and cheap cheap cheap. I don't have to cringe this year watching my wife cut food using a rock as a cutting board with my manix while camping.
CS shovel - worked great at clearing ice off the drive way, digging truck out of snow. Digging sh1tters while camping, have in hand for bump in the night by the fire.
All 3 were bought for 120 CDN, cheaper than one of my folders. Can't complain.
