I just can't make myself like these guys. I would feel like a basement dweller if I bought one.
 
What kind if trained ticketed machinist would stab through sheet metal with a knife?
 
If you cut through the BS marketing videos cold steel folding knives aren't that bad of a knife for the money, I turned against them for awhile but decided to pick up a recon 1 spearpoint for my work knife that way if it gets tore up i'm only out 60 bucks.

And it's got a tapered tang too. Looks like Lynn actually went all out on this one, technically speaking that should be a pretty good knife.


I'm looking forward to the 5.5" Talwar. All I see is a giant wave opening lockback Military. Too bad they didn't just call it a Mince Monster (or something to that effect), a knife like that will really shine in the kitchen.

Cold Steel is cheesy, but they make things that no one else would dare. If that's a good thing is debatable. At least it's better quality than wall art I guess. :)

The Talwar is what I am most excited for, I want to grab it as soon as it's available. Did you read that it's going to be 2" wide? It's going to be a monster.

And I was worried the handle was going to be too skinny...

I love my Hold Out 1 but choosing between these two is going to be painful.

They call that being self-conscious. You should try to develop more self-awareness to build up your self-confidence.
 
I just hope the longer blade on the 2HKM fixes the AWFUL dynamics and performance of the original. It was both a horrible machete and a horrible sword. I'm really mostly excited for the Smatchet and Barong machetes. I like how the All Terrain Chopper is basically an overgrown corn knife. :p

Sooo, the Marauder looks pretty sweet. Barong, Royal Kukri, and Smatchet also pretty awesome (in that "seriously?!" Cold Steel way).
 
Damn Cold Steel! More stuff I will have try to resist buying. That pole ax would look great at my front door for those who ignore our "no solicitors" sign. I don't know why they didn't put a spike at the top.;)
 
Don't consider myself much of a mall ninja, but I'm loving my new Voyager XL so much that the XL Recon and Talwar are looking pretty sweet.
