Cold Steels Cause It SticksMan

And the message from the video is what? “Cold Steel makes destructive things”(?)

This is the dumbest marketing that we have seen since Dark Ops Knives. Yes, all of this stuff was previously done by LT; but when he presented it, he did so in the context of testing and demonstrating his products suitability for hunting, survival, defense, or just fun.

without knife intros and model specs and especially missing before and after close ups,
it was imo, more of a work out clip.
show casing one man's
destructive power of aggression
and induced mayhem in a controlled environment.
finally! an amazing proof video which
zooms in on the key human element...
namely the need of focused aggression,
which empowers one with
the incredible possibility of
producing superhuman bladed feats of wonton destruction.
proving that it takes more than
a good aim to achieve the desired targets.

I think that Cold Steel videos mean different things to different people. As you stated yourself, "demonstrating his products suitability for hunting, survival, defense, or just fun." They are kind of a Rorschach test if you will. Some will be offended and others will be inspired and some just like to be entertained by the absurd content!

But as far fetched as some of these videos appear to be, at times there's a little truth in them.

So Stickman went berserker mode in a Cold Steel video. There may come a day when that's what keeps you alive!

I have nothing against Stickman personally, but he himself admitted that he was never into knives (only as a tool for hunting). For me, that is just a bit weird with the position he's taken over from Lynn Thompson. When I watched him at SHOT Show being interviewed by the Knife Center guy, it was painful. At the very least, if he knew he was going to become the lead man for Cold Steel, one would think he would have done some hard and quick studying about knives 101 to avoid looking stupid. After watching him at SHOT Show it's obvious he did not. I guess his schtick is to just make stab and slash videos without explaining anything. It's just all very corporate and shallow to me and doesn't reflect well on the company. Just my 2 cents.
