Cold Steels Cause It SticksMan

What's his BFs username? He should be tagged in here as a courtesy to help him find the right direction to spread his wings. Just because I think the name "Stick Man" is silly doesn't mean I don't want to see him succeed. Of course a new (better) moniker wouldn't hurt, or maybe just going by his real name. Stick man makes me think he should be some skinny guy.
some youtuber reviewer guy, who's tied to cold steel now, called him that in a couple reviews. cause the fella was walking around with a tree limb in his hand in the early videos........ and now the fellas using that name.

he has a real name..I dont remember what it is. he does most of gsm products videos...or least some of the other brands as ive seen him before in other gsm brand videos.

I believe that GSM will just slowly and quietly downgrade the materials and move everything to China once they feel they can get away with it. Individual knives will quietly disappear. That's why I think that this year is a good time to buy anything you really want because who knows what will be available next year or how QC will be. Or, GSM might cave under political pressure due to some nut using a CS product and media sensationalizing it whereas Lynn Thompson would have told them to buzz off. I can really see this with the Cold Steel Grivory knives because of ability for them to pass through a metal detector. NY has already banned them and more states could follow suit in the near future. So yeah, grab what you can now. If GSM actually keeps things going decently, then they will retain customers which I think is a good thing.
I pray your wrong, but won't be the least bit surprised if you're right.

I just bought 5 CS knives, so I put my money where your recommendation is.

sensei lynn was the heart and soul
of the company.
there is no denying that it was his brain child.
probably as a result of his self confessed childhood experiences with getting bullied.
he is also a short guy who grew sideways....
in all he did something about his
personel issues - he fought back.
he trained in the martial arts.
and with this mindset of
self defense which eventually
shaped the concept of cold steel.
hence the urban warrior and japanese inspired blade shapes.
and the productline grew with his personal interest.
and that's why it was so vastly different
from other "knife-only" companies.
take that away and the company direction will not be as colorful.
'nuff said.

Good synopsis. CS was unlike any other knife company, it really is in a category all it’s own. As a previous member said, LT didn’t give a crap about “political correctness”…that is so rare nowadays, it’s ashame actually. It’s amazing how the big corporations now bow down to all that nonsense.

That is so true, nowadays political correctness is unbearable asphyxiating and CS is a relief of that.

Okay, I'm on the bandwagon of appreciating an owner and company that won't even consider bending the knee to "social justice" extortion. Lynn T gets high marks for that!
