Collecting Question

I never give it a second thought. I buy whatever I want with complete disregard on how the blade is made.

That's how I do it as well Larry, I was just curious about what the majority of people collected.

I have about 15 customs and they're all forged, one is a folder (user). If I had the budget I'd probably have a collection of Szilaski and Eaton style folders but fixed blades are what really float my boat.

.....Oh, and just because you choose to focus your collection narrowly doesn't mean that you can't occationally pick up one that doesn't fit just because you like it.

That's exactly how I have acquired fixed blades over the past few years. Gentleman folders are my thing now but once in a while I see something in a fixed blade that just whispers, "Honey, I'm yours."
