Exchange forum: not following the rules
Already packed and ready to ship from an earlier thread. I will ship next day or same day on this knife, depending on what time you purchase it. Please don't expect me to quit my job or forsake my duties as a father and husband to run to the post office the moment you hit send on PayPal. I've been assured that's how everyone else here sells; but I'm not that accomplished, either as a businessman or a human being. Other sellers are simply better than I am. And I've learned to live with that.

At any rate, asking $OLD USPS shipping rates have gotten absurd, so $5 is a nice compromise. The knife is like new. Only ever displayed it. It's huge. And very cool. But it'll buy my son a new Wilson A2000 for Christmas, and that's what matters most to me right now.

A member just sent me several messages, first suggesting that -- as he sent me a PM first, while another member said in the comments that he'd take the knife -- he should have been offered the knife before the person who claimed it directly. Thing is, the member's PM asked if I could ship it to him at a significant discount and waive the shipping. When I explained this to him, he wrote me back and told me that, as he is a lawyer, he knows better about how such things should work. He then told me that nobody cares why I'm selling -- son's baseball, eg., in this case -- or why I've re-listed the item, which says to me that my postings should first be run through him for editorial approval. Is that how it works here? I invited him to fornicate his own self. I felt that to be an appropriate response to unsolicited advice and claims upon a knife he wanted for a huge discount. ​


That's two bad experiences in the course of three days since posting knives for sale cheap. Honestly, I don't know what's wrong with people, but I'm out. Later.
 
I wont lose any sleep over it brother for every sale listing is assumed that a definite “I will take it” followed by a pm and payment gets the item.
Offers for lower price are good and all but an “i will take it” for the asking price has priority.

I still have the M390 3D-Wood Bradford Guardian 4, which I'm honestly surprised hasn't been snapped up yet. It's got an insane edge and is an easy carry. I also have a Knife Exchange / Topps Field Buddy 5.5 with matching fire steel, and the Large Infantry Knife from Half Breed, which is a very robust bit of steel. If anyone is interested, please let me know asap. I don't want to make many more post office runs. Thanks.
