OK that's it. Everyone send them back to Pelton and let's start this all over again:D

Good catch though...I'll chalk it up to artistic license.

Nope - He is right. The big hat say "dp" while the two little hats say "qb"

Too bad there will not be other LE runs or the mistake may be valuable.

oh my. All my artwork is correct. Reminds me of my Dale Murphy card for Upper Deck in 89. It was worth a fortune

It appears to only be on the right side of the blade too - the left side (the side with the scale on the handle) looks correct on all 3 hats.

That's funny right there.

i wouldnt call it "funny" as much as i would as a failure to inspect the knives before they were all produced

also, does the tip of the knife look like it doesnt rest inside the scales to anyone else?(Im not talking about the glass breaker, look at the tip of the knife in these pics

) might just be the angles, but it looks like the tip of the knife is exposed..
ill wait until i see some clear shots of the tip to be sure

when we designed and produced the 89 Upper Deck series one of my guys didn't notice that the Dale Murphy was flipped. Made a lot of collectors a lot of money. Have no idea what happened to Dale Murphy tho :))

And "Ikilledkenny" dude... thank God you were never a photo intelligence analyst...that is the glass breaker.
...i know what the glass breaker is... the TIP of the knife(NOT glass breaker) appears to be sticking out past the edge of the handles(not the bottom of the knife, sides)

uhhh.....

not so much.

the tip of the blade appears to be exposed, ie not nested within the liners/scales, when in the closed position.

i looked through all the pics of the closed knife i could find here, and they all look the same.

it is almost as though the knife is not closed all the way, when it is closed all the way.

I think what kenny is getting at is.... it seems that the tip of the knife rides somewhat proud of the tops of the handles. In the pics he posted, it seems to be noticeable. Someone may need to post better pics to clear this up.
