I really like the green bone on these Parker-Frost knives by Schrade from 1978. Kind of a spruce green, with great jigging.

I tend to like dark bone (main exception being Case blue bone - loved it since I first saw it in the late 1990’s). I do have a few with some color though. OH

The blue bone doesn’t get much love for some reason, I also luv the darkest type and have yet to find one myself.

Gus, your Robeson is nice from several aspects - nice bone color, great jigging, and a terrific jackknife pattern. For more blue bone, this blue bone is much brighter than it looks here (I tend to wait for cloudy days to take pictures - easier on my mediocre photography skills). Also here is my favorite type of Case Knife, combine the 18 pattern with bone so dark it looks black - can’t pass one of these up!). OH

I like a lot of different bone colors from natural to brightly colored. I think my favorite is Case's old appaloosa. No two are alike. Here's one of mine from 1979.
