oof, shaved all the yaks the last couple days

moved things, got the garage ready for intake

shoveled a path 1.5 car units wide, and 2ish cars long, in order to free my trailer

shoveled out the trailer

shoveled a smoother section of driveway (i have seen the gravel since December, still can't...)

hooked up trailer

went for a drive

came back with a thing, and got thing into garage

made a 3 slope ramp from the garage trap door to basement, with 12 2x4s

rigged a sled for the ramp

got the thing on the sled, and secured with webbing (my logging kit)

backed car into garage bay, and using the hard mounts on the hitch, for a belay point

belayed the thing down the sled into basement

smooooooooth :D

thing is now partially assembled... the next part is fiddly, and i'm tuckered out

so now, a cider, a video, and some reading, and then bed
 
Here is one that might be a good tan tweener scale option.

Good find....but I will say that's one of the only knives I had no problems giving away. Wouldn't hold an edge worth a damn (plus it was butter knife sharp out of the box)...and some other things that made me buy something different shortly after I got it. Rode around unused in my work truck for a couple of years until I was talking knives with a co-worker and he said he had lost his. He was happy as hell to receive it, and I was glad to give it away. My least favorite knife, ever - that I can remember, anyway.
 
I have a job & will most likely miss the start of the next Snark thread.

I had never heard of it before but its a pretty good show!!

But now is time for a break from it because its time to watch the pilot episodes of "Secrets and Lies" and "The Last Man on Earth"

The girl that plays the daughter (Lily) is only like 12 years younger than Megyn Price, who plays her mom on the show. Both look younger than they are.

my experience with it too. either it's not made of blade steel or it's not heat-treated. or it's tempered down to like 40Rc.
