Check it out. Last week when we had some -18F to -20F temps I did the old tossing of boiling water in the air trick. The water flash freezes into steam instantaneously forming a cloud of snow. Pretty cool eh?

So I really want a fire steel with a stacked leather handle, but I thought that it would not be secure enough and the handle would rip right off the steel. So I made this quick and dirty handle to test it out.... I dont think my Jeep could pull this off of here!

I cut the circles with a knife and just guessed where the center hole should be, drilled it with my press and then sanded it down while it was in the drill bit on the press. Now that I know it works I am going to order a few steels with lanyard holes and a bigger leather punch, should turn out nice. Oh and this one is coated in superglue, kinda looks like a turd! The next one should have a nice finish like a Kabar handle.

That's pretty bad azz WW. I have been wanting to finish my ink for a while now but things keep getting in the way.

I about spit my drink out when I saw the Pinocchio tattoo after the video.

I been working on mine for years.... The company above is drawing the design to finish up my left arm half sleeve. I have had the basic idea of what i wanted for quite a while now, but getting the idea perfect on paper has been another issue entirely, especially since i cant draw to save my life LOL.. But these people do great work, there are some amazing tats and designs on their FB page! Another cool thing about these people is that they do a graphic overlay so you can actually see how it will look on your skin before ever going to the shop and they make sure it fits around existing art as well!

Once thats done both arms will be covered from elbow to wrist. I also have a large piece on my back and 5-6" of ink on both legs.

I laughed about the Pinocchio one too :D I bet that was an unpleasant experience though LOL
 
Today is a day of winning. :thumbup:

Target moving out of Canada:thumbup: got a Colman 8 man tent half price. Bushnell 10x 50 binoculars ($30). Bacchi ball set for $15.

Went to the lawyers office and got my will and power of attorney finished, so the kids will be set god forbid anything happen to the wife or I.

I also went to a Lasik clinic. Looks like I'm going to end up paying some quack a fair sum of money to blast my corneas with laser beams so I no longer need my glasses :thumbup:

AND the bill for the hot tub came in. All major parts I got on warranty. One plastic seating $40 and the service call $150 = $190 charge (potentially was going to be $1250)!!

I may just have to go to bed, save something bad wreck it ;)
 
A local gun shop had Magtech .38 LRN on sale for 13.49 today. Limit 5 boxes. Yes, I did. :D

I found a couple hundred rounds of 38 that I loaded a few years ago and forgot about until this morning. Looks like everyone is having some good luck.

Went against my own advice, but it just made my day a little bit better :D

With it being a decent winter temperature around here (28F), I decided to use my fixed hot tub. I also invited my friend Lefty to join. Epic relaxation.

Glad to see some other folks are having a good day!

Nice scores with the ammo guys!
