Coming Soon: Charlie Mike custom!

These are keeping me busy while your blade is on it's way from HT. The first is a Snody Hunter/Boot sent to me from elvis.alive to have a IWB rig made with garment leather over kydex. He also wanted me to grind a sharpened false edge. As you can see, the sheath hasn't been covered with leather yet. The second is for the guy who ordered a CF SD dagger. This time he wanted a survival dagger that can be used to make a spear. He wanted stainless steel so I did it in 3/16" 440c (first time grinding SS).

Man, that sharpened false edge is beautiful! And the dagger is nice too, even though it isn't my style. Very smatchet/pugio-like.

Would be a hell of a spearhead though! Are you going to do a cord wrap on that? or actual handle scales?

The boss wants full thickness 550 with a few coats of Plasti Dip. That way he has virgin 550 to lash the knife to a staff.

Makes sense, but it is a bit of a shame. It would be pretty good looking with some micarta scales..

BTW howd you like working with stainless?

i have allways found CM to be intertaing and inspreational on youtube. also proves you don't need to spend thousands on tools to be able to make something amazing
keep it up man

Grinding SS isn't anywhere as fast as carbon steel.

This thing came from a prison in Juarez. It now lives with my teacher Scott Babb creator of the Libre Fighting System. Charlie I think this is something you can appreciate.

Scott actually includes the straight razor in his system. Very evil stuff.

I like it!

BTW, it looks like edwood7 is getting my straight razor!

Great work as always CM! I think when I get some money saved up I may have to buy a beautiful blade from you, I really like that Tactical Straight Razor.

Been busy lately. His knife and 2 others came back from flraptor07 at 58-59RC. This is what I've been up to.

These are 440C. I thought it would be prudent to make the carry rigs before they get HT'd and finally sharpened.

Here's a nasty double edge fighter I designed for reverse grip edge out that also works well in a saber/fencing grip. The edges are 4.5" and 2" sharpened length. It will be getting a 550 cord wrap handle and a 220 grit finish.

Looks great! If my sheath looks as good as that, I will be a very satisfied customer

The scales are gluing up right now. I honestly detest grinding CF. I was asked which was more work... grinding the steel or doing the handles. Both suck equally as hard.

Really starting to like your work, your knives combine quality material with that raw, prison shank styling that just oozes macho. Very cool to watch it all evolve.

Good job CM. I have been wanting one of your customs too. It's just a matter of when I can get the designs together.

All it needs now is a little fine finish work...
