Coming soon, new Case canvas series.

Ya, I may never carry it but I just had to have it. 😁
I don't fly fish, but I do love to fish and wouldn't mind having that one myself.
I can't go collecting them all however and with all my knives intended as users I have to decide on just one because I don't carry larger folders too often.

My guess is to suggest they're using these as a blank canvas, seeing as the many artistic designs.
My guess it's because the handle is used as art canvas so to speak.
Edit: Hickory n steel Hickory n steel beat me to it
That's what I think too, although I opened the email expecting to see canvas micarta :D
Thanks for the sensible suggestions, guys.:thumbsup::cool:
(I also was expecting some sort of literal canvas covers; I'm apparently not very artistic or imaginative! 🤓)

There is a youtube video from the “hazy ridge” knife store where they discuss this with the Case representative at Blade Show. Also, they say they will pause or maybe even cancel production of these after this run due to problems with the manufacturing process. Hopefully hinting at future scarcity is not just a sales ploy.

The various executive series models have always had SS frames and I assumed the same for most of these , but using just 1 type of metal here makes the most sense, especially that they'd all be brass considering the engraved ones.

Sorry, I wasn't clear with my question, I meant the handles. Someone else further down the page has replied that they may be brass.

A hazy hurst guy interviewing a Case guy at a blade show was my source of information. Maybe mine was an earlier youtube. They said they were going to be a limited edition, but didn't mention production problems.

How do you order them? I can’t find them anywhere.
They are at a non-supporting dealer, which can't be mentioned here.
But if you read the whole thread and pay attention to the clues, you should be able to figure it out.
I'd Message you, but you'd need a paid membership here for me to do that... so just use the clues in this thread.

I can't name the company , but if you Google Case knives they should be about the 4th listing down.
Just look for the person who might herd goats or the dog who might be a police officer.
You'd be preordering because they're not available just yet.

I broke down and pre-ordered the one with the trout and fly as well. On the Blade Show video they indicated these would ship to dealers in the next couple of weeks. There are a couple other covers that look pretty interesting as well, but I'll start with this one for now.

I watched all the vids I could find, and I kept hollering "turn it over" but I don't think they ever did.

Did we ever get a peek at the pile side? In one of the posted vids the color on a couple looked like it might go all the way around, but I could never catch them flipping one over,

If I had to venture a guess, I would say that’s an indicator that the pile side is unadorned.
Much like the tenet “if it doesn’t scream CV, it’s probably stainless” …

If the blades are centered and the walk and talk is good, I'll try a couple out.

This, of course, is not a given, so I'll be waiting for some reports from early adopters.
