I'm pretty sure we have deer hunting in California, but mostly we have millions upon millions of people, and of late, wildfires.

This Thursday will be three weeks from having nasal/sinus surgery. Deviated septum and collapsed sinus repairs, conditions that I’ve lived with my whole life and finally decided to address. The first week with stents in my nose was as bad as I thought it would be, it was horrifically claustrophobic. Tonight’s the first time since that my nose and the breathing experience almost feels normal. I finally feel like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. This has been rough!

Surgery sucks, but glad it's going well. I remember having eyelid surgery. It sucked, but the result was worth it.

Yep surgery sucks. I have surgery on my right foot in Nov of 2020 , another surgery on that foot may of 2022 and surgery on my left foot this April. I'm now looking at back surgery. I'm trying to make it to next April for work reasons . It gets better hang in there

My knifemaking buddy is going in for foot surgery and skin & bone grafts today... more fallout from his motorcycle accident 6-8 weeks ago where a Crosstrek wrecked his leg (his leg returned the favor).
