Coming this Spring - KA-BAR Becker BK40 Folder

I would be good with a 200.00 to 250.00 Becker 40. Absolutely. That price range and a new player in the USA made folder would take some business away from others.
Does the 40 has an Emerson look to it?

Kabar shouldnt doubt the US made market place and support.

Love Ethan, Becker, Kabar and US made.
 
Glad to see these getting into people's hands and getting some use. Warrior's cabin pics have me wanting to get a BK40 for one of the kiddos. She's been bugging me for months for her own Becker!

This is an idea KA-BAR has seriously let slip through their fingers. Meanwhile, other companies are embracing "custom" "semi customs" "mid tech" and the like and just killing it every year. Constantly selling out of just awesome stuff. I love KB and especially Beckers but I wish they would just wake the F up and realize, they don't always have to go with "cheap and affordable". They can make "expensive" stuff on ocassion.
 
Just got mine today, have to say doesn’t look half bad..nice blade not too sharp so going to put mine on my WE see how the blade sharpness holds up! I’m going to carry this all next week so will be interesting for sure

That sucks. Mine came shaving sharp, and still was after a few feather sticks, and batonning with it.
 
Even after breaking down and cutting up 100# of cardboard, mine still cuts mule tape cleanly with minimal effort.
 
Cool looking design but cannot and will not support Chinese made products if all possible. Only way to get these made in America is to not buy them until they are not made in China. At least made in Taiwan is a middle finger to China.

I would buy one otherwise if made in USA. I like Ethan but it needs USA on it.

Well I have been carrying this folder for a week, very Nice knife comfortable in the hand but I’m a flipper guy and that part I missed! Great knife and a good user

I'd actually have been OK with it if they had taken the liner lock Mk 98 and stuck with upgrading all the materials.

Yeah if I’m going to spend money like that it needs to be Sexy. Like a S&W Model 19 with a blueing so rich that it looks like a black water swamp,the graceful flowing lines of a four inch barrel, a Beautiful fluted cylinder that contains an assload of horsepower, and a trigger as smooth as..... I need to find my gun magazines I have some important articles that need reading.

pinned, recessed 2.5" w/ glassy-smooth DA pull and Altamonts.
Yeah, that knife's can't compete.
