Coming Tonight 3-9-16 The Urban Grudge, Urban Fudge and A Busse Kin Mystery Grab Bag

Looks nice, but I think I prefer the original profile a little more

The original profile is quite sexy* and stabby. The handle cutaway to reveal the jimping was also a nice touch. Probably my favorite mid-sized knife and the full-flat grind preserves a reasonable edge geometry.

*The new one is quite sexy too. :)

I'm pretty excited for the Urban Fudge! Only thing I don't like is the name. Fudge?! How about Urban Pudge? Or Chubby Grudge?

I have a conundrum. I really want to get in on one of the grab bags, but being international, if I were to order and the knife turned out to be something like an Argonne Assault which is a prohibited import in Australia, and if Customs pick it, I'm out of pocket a lot of cash. I imagine there are certain States-side HOGS who would be in a similar situation if certain knives fell foul of their state laws.

Can Jerry or Garth at least confirm that nothing in the grab bags would cause us these kind of dramas?

Confirmed!. . .

If we did screw up, we'd make it right by you anyway.

We might end up being out of some money, but we would never let it fall on you my friend.

Lets drink!

There have been a few 2nd gens now that have switched from a FFG to a saber grind. I believe SHe was one. I like the new design quite a bit, but hear you on the FFG. I also liked that jimping. I am missing the old logo as well. And most of all, miss the multi color micarta options.

I wonder if the mystery bags will be limited to offerings from op2wks and online store offerings.

Hopefully if anything, they will be supplemented with lots of blades made specifically to support the mystery bag orders. Could see some truly custom sweet blades.

Also curious if mystery bag orders will be randomly filled over the next 16 weeks or if all of the mystery bag orders will ship in the somewhat same time frame as each other as what happens with normal op2wks orders.

This sir is why you are the gold standard in customer service and loyalty. Thank you.

In for a $500 grab bag

Loving that Urban Grudge LE. I've got something pretty similar; but, in this case, the Grudge wins on style. I might make it til the weekend without ordering one; but I wouldn't want to bet on it.

The new one is very nice, and if I didn't have a couple of the originals I'd be trying to convince my fiancée we needed one!
