compact stuff

HollowD, back to the pix: what is that interesting looking multi blade knife you have there? Looks like something German, could you say what it is please? Very interesting gear, I like a minimalist or light carry approach!

great pics HD... i really like that sleeping bag.... my son, who is growing ever so fast, has recently claimed my summer bag....:o

Great to see those orikaso bowls came down in price. When they first came out the were rediculously expensive for what they are.
For cutting boards google flexible cutting mats, all kinds of great stuff. I think they are made from the same stuff as the Orikaso

True. I caught them on sale and bought like 5. Some for all my friends:thumbup:

Hey HD, get Mtnfolk Mike to send you a couple bamboo sporks. I think you'd like them.

Tarmix,

It's not a cutting board. It is an orikasa folding bowl that is unfolded:thumbup:

They actually work pretty good. Kind of a fun gadget that doesn't get in it's own way.

For a quick and dirty cutting board you can cut the side out of a gallon milk jug.

Milk jug bottoms make the best hiking sinks and dog bowls around. Cheap as dirt, you can customize the size, and just stuff them full of other gear in your pack. Weight is like nothing.

He sent me one last year. They are cool!

glad to hear you guys are liking them.... i need to pick up a few more, but the the store i get them from, is all out... i need to get them to order some more... maybe i'll try and get a box/case...

i recently got a set of those floppy guyot designs, bowls... they're pretty wild... it's taken me a bit to get used to drinking out of them....

also i have a few of the really small and thin, cutting boards... i keep a small one in my pack pretty much all the time.. i love them... i punched a few holes in the corner of one, to use it as a strainer too....
