Started off as a kid with just traditionals- a generic tiny stockman, two small lockbacks, a couple knock off SAKs, an unidentified black stiletto, and an unfortunately MIA mother of pearl penknife handed down from my grandpa. In 2000 or so I was gifted my first modern folder, a double blade kerambit, then bought my self a few more less evil looking one handers over the years. In the past year or two a desire for "non-scary" and "non-weaponlike" started me with a slow but steady evolution to traditional pocketknives. Right now I have 5 modern folders and 20 or so traditional. And 2 leathermans wherever they fit in. Wow I actually hadn't thought of how many I really had, maybe my girlfriend is right that I "have enough" (never!)
