Im all about a composite blade skyline id buy one fast....I would also like to see a tiger stripped blade as well. There is something about the TS blades i really like.

I voted no. The blade is short enough (as in edge to spine) to handle a sngle piece of steel. I know, What about the Leek!

I voted yes. I would buy one, but only because it would be a CB. I just can't edc a Skyline because it's just small for my big boy hands. A 3.5" version would be awesome. I won't hijack the thread by saying what I really would like to see be the next CB Kershaw comes out with.

Have every other variant so of course I would buy one... Or 3

I would just want a composite blade, maybe 14c28n top with an Elmax cutting edge. And if they wanted to put a different color scales on it that would be fine but not necessary. It's a skyline can't make it priced way too high.

I agree. Being "to over the top" would kind of ruin the Skyline for me.

The one fatal flaw I've seen in the CB blades to date is that the tip of the blade is always the harder material. IMO the tip should be the tougher material, since we're just fantasizing let's do the skyline CB right and make the composite edge start just behind the tip so the tip has better toughness and will be less likely to snap off if the knife is accidentally loaned to someone who thinks a knife is a pry bar.

Which is why the old-school mix of 14C28N and CPM-D2 would be eckstrasecks. :D CPM-D2 is great, and they don't make that stuff anymore. ;)

Dont loan your knife out, or use it as a pry bar. :D Id hate to have the softer steel on the tip, the tip is what dulls the fastest(for me).

I agree bob, it's always the tip of my knives making me strop them back to sharpness.

Now that I see kornphlake's rendering I'm kind of digging it.
Wasn't my rendering, I just quoted presz so the photo of a typical CB blade pattern was shown. My design would have the braze line cross the cutting edge, which now that I think about it may be a bigger problem than having a brittle tip.
