Composite blade skyline?

Ooh, damascus on the spine and vanax on the blade with carbon fiber handle! Although i think my obsession with ths 0777 clouds my mind lol

IMO the tip should be the tougher material, since we're just fantasizing let's do the skyline CB right and make the composite edge start just behind the tip so the tip has better toughness and will be less likely to snap off if the knife is accidentally loaned to someone who thinks a knife is a pry bar.

My artistic skills are just not up to the task, but I'd love to see it made with the composite brazing line shaped like a silhouette of the Portland skyline.

I missed the S30V Forum knife, but I probably wouldn't pay more than that for a composite Skyline. The problem with sprint runs is that if there's a flaw in the knife it usually can't be replaced or fixed. Still, I really like the Skyline. It's a very useful size and blade shape.
 
I find that buying many of a limited run is the best thing to do. Then you can pick the ones that suit you the most. :) I also miss the BFC Skyline insomuch as all the hubbub, the suspense, and then the reports of them trickling in. It was a pretty fun time, all things considered.

Personally, I'd pay the same price for a composite blade Skyline, especially if it were a limited run. I'd snatch up three or four is they did a small enough number. I'm really surprised it hasn't happened yet. :o
 
I'm waiting for one that's TiAu alloy with M390. It would be like a specialized dental pick that you could also use against tigers.
