Guyon, a while back, posted about someone in a tree who fired one across the bow of said trespassers from some distance...as I recall it ended there. Allegedly.

Yeah, that was my uncle's hunt club. They put up gates to stop the four-wheeler folks from riding through and spooking the game. The four-wheeler folks started Supergluing the locks out of spite. So one of the hunters set up near a gate and waited. Sure enough, here came a four-wheeler dude about mid-morning. While 4W dude was down fiddling with the lock, the hunter put a shot a few feet to one side of him. Four-wheeler dude did a backflip, got on his mo-sheen, and skidaddled. No more locks were Superglued.

What time are ya'll going to start shooting Saturday? I'm going to have to go to bed at 5 o'clock Friday night. :p

OP
I dont mean to be morbid or bring up unhappy emotions,
but Im a newbies,can
you please tell me the meaning of your signature Picture
and "Rest easy, Dave"

Surely.

Once there was a very strange BladeForums member, we shall call him "Dave.":)

He was truly peculiar, in almost every way. But he was also a fine man with an enormous heart he shared with everyone he met, even electronically.

Then, one day, his wife was senselessly killed. And Dave fell apart. Many medical problems later, Dave also passed. This part of the story ... it's just too painful to tell. In fact, I freely admit I'm passing a few tears right now. I have no doubt Dave is in a better place now.

I came along for the last part of Dave's saga. Not quite sure how, but I was swept up in the last few years of his life. I did what little I could to help, as did many others; most especially the poster known as Totally Judy.

If you look around, here and there, you'll find a lot of people around here that remember Dave fondly. Even after all this time, I just find it's too soon to remove that odd little symbol.

VG = Vampire Gerbil. What can I say, Dave was ... a strange, strange fellow. But what a heart.:(

To give you a sense of Dave's sense of humor...

I Chopped this one up when Dave's children were debating over how he'd be buried, what would be on the tombstone, etc.

Dave wasn't in the greatest of health at the time, but he got a big kick out of this pic.
