Certainly there are Jackals on the look-out for a freebie, it get's even more offensive when they decide to brazenly sell on their winnings. Karma may katch them
In the GAWs I've held I only hold them on one subforum, I set conditions e.g. minimum No. of posts there, if I don't recognize them then their post becomes void..if they obviously don't even know what the knife is that voids them too. In the end I decide.
However, most people taking part in GAWs do seem to have a valid interest, do follow the conditions/contributions. It is very rewarding to hear from a winner a bit later that they are pleased with the knife, are using it and it may have opened up a new vista in their collection, those genuine responses make it worthwhile.
