Condor Knives and tools are, by far, the best knives and tools for the money, and then some. Nuthin' left to say.

Good stuff, indeed. A little rough, but tough to beat at the price!

Used a blade a while back...was tough from what I recall and also affordable.

They'll also be spending a lot of focused effort in the upcoming year to improve product quality tolerances, which ought to be nice! When they do 'em right they do 'em RIGHT. If they can get them all up to that level they'll be unstoppable!

I got the Kukri Machete for Christmas from Baryonyx. It is very true to the tradition. I like the distal taper of the blade. That is something you don't see on the "real" Kukris, most of which are designed to be wood choppers...axe replacements I mean. I like the wood. Not sure what it is. I needed to rasp, file, and sand mine a bit to get it to fit and it does nicely. Just maybe an hour's work I suppose. Fits like a glove and really, you wouldn't know I changed it any by looking. I am looking to pick up some smaller Condors maybe. My one concern is with the big riccasso relative to Mora. I am not so thrilled about that in their smaller knives but I have yet to spend a lot of time looking at them yet.

Any "touch-up work" that they need is a non-issue if you have a few power tools & some hand tools & don't mind doing it. I enjoy it myself. But my time is money as well. My cheap-a** H Freight power tools have made my knife addiction MUCH less stressful & easier when the edge is not straight/even or needs to be thinned or sharpened or convexed or re-shaped. My Dremel tool also helps in handle re-shaping, making finger grooves, choils, bowie tips on machete's etc... .

Condor does make a great tool for the price point, and THAT gives you the ability to customize it & make it your own. As far as being the "best", i will have to agree to disagree. I have other knives that are made in America, by Americans, for just a little bit more money, that do not need any touch ups what so ever. I'm just sayin.' :D

I have the Boomslang, Pack Golok, Lochnessmuk, Nessmuk, Woodworker axe. I love them all. They all did need some touch up work. They are fantastic for the money. It's just that some don't share our "no big deal to me" way of thinking if they do not have the tools/equip/knowledge to do the touch up work. Thats why BaryOnyx offers the service that he does. Which is awesome i might add. You don't get that level of service from a big box store. I'm just sayin.' :D

Warlock is on my list as well. :D

By the way, Joe posted these over on a certain other forum.

I'd like to see either of the bowies with a straighter handle or the Hudson Bay with a longer handle. I don't really ever use a knife that big but I'd be tempted by one of the above. :D

I wish their parang was a bit thinner.

And in stock.

Bushcraft parang is thinner this year. :) and designed with the handle to be bumped out to keep stock quick.

You'll notice that there isn't many items this year. That would be because this year, we are focusing on fixing the "rough" issues people were receiving in the past.

Looks fantastic!

I really love the Tactana Sword and the new Tanto knife!

And now the wait begins lol....

Thanks for posting.

Oh man !!! Why did you have to go & post those pics ??? lol :D

Really diggin the 2nd one down !!! Slightly less than 1/8" thick.:thumbup: And the Katana !!! Slightly more than 3/16" thick.:thumbup:

All great news! Seeing pictures, definitely looks thinner. Weight isn't listed, but I'm sure it's lighter.

Those are definitely gonna sell considering the only modern parang option has been that Bear Grylls Fisher Price toy.

Would be nice to see a cheap ABS plastic sheath instead of nylon for easy cleaning, but that's easy enough to make so I won't complain.

Oh nylon is plenty easy to clean--just spray it down with a hose and let it dry. :)

I'm most excited for the Matagi this year. What's the width on that?
