I'm looking for a custom knife maker who specializes in machining/forging and heat treating AEB-L Steel. I want to commission him/her/them to make me an as-exact-as-possible replica of the Condor Mini Duku Parang, but in AEB-L steel (no cerakote or anodizing, please.) Same length, same thickness, same width dimensions and curve pitches, same amount of finger clearance on the "ricasso" before the actual cutting edge begins, same thin convex grind, same walnut handle with the wire wrap, same everything. Is there anyone here who's down to take up such a finicky commission? I'll pay a fair price for the project, +75% of that established price as gratis for the maker.
