The difference now is that I enjoy it :D Sort of....well, not really, but sometimes.
 
Just wear black pants that way no one will be able to tell. It works for me. :D
PS: When I was looking through the window it looked like you had two belly buttons, both innies. :eek: :p

You got a nice one in the 2005 knives! I was lucky to see one of your knives at the TrackRock hammerin Dan. Maybe Mark knows who had it. It was a collector that was there. I made it in the back of that book. Maybe I'll get in next year?

Michael :D I sent in my info for the back of the book. Not as glamorus as an actual knife in it but its a start. I had to buy it (of course). It justs lists me in the NC makers and my name in alphabetical(with my contact info and makers specs). Still very humbling to be in there with makers I think are the cats meow ;) .

wow that's interesting ?? you had to pay to be in the back maker listings?
I wonder when they started charging for it? Brian you talking Blade mag or Knives 2005? :confused:
 
I payed for the book since I was in it :D Plus some of the guys from here are in it. J. and tess are in it 4 times!
I got one knife in "Whats new" FEb 205 Blade magazine
AND
I got listed as a custom maker in the 2005 Annual book.
Dan you have a nice shot in the 2005 Annual book.

I didnt pay for either, just bought the book at the store ;)
I think I worded the above post weird. Guess I am not a writer so I can forget ever writing for the magazine.
 
Got my issue of Blade in the mail today. The pic looks great Brian, :D hope you get a ton of orders ;) Once again, way to go!

Thanks for the ton of support. Cant wait to see it myself. I was telling Mark earlier that I am just now to the point that I feel I have a grip on what it is I do.....but there is a ton yet to try :D
 
Damn, I'm jumping in here late again! That's fantastic Brian, great work. I know you've been busting your butt and making a great tool, it's good that your hard work is getting some publicity. Awsome! I've seen great reviews of your Sidekick on both sides of the Atlantic, you made one hell of an impression. Keep 'em coming bud. I can't wait to get my Blade issue.

I'm still not sure about the "paying" to be in the listings of Knives '05? We payed for our business card in the back but, I thought the rest was free? Tess was pretty tickled to get two sets of sheath pix in as well as the knife pix. This it too much fun. Can't wait to actually meet you at a show or HI Brian. Again, great job. Looking forward to what's next!

Come to think of it Brian, I don't recall seeing you swing a hammer at the last event. Hmmmm........this ain't some kind of elaborate form of shinannagins is it?
