"Congress Roundup" - Let's see your Congress Pattern Knives

This congress was the first traditional that I had bought in 20 years. Since then I've bought a few other patterns.
I believe it was a 2008 model Henckles.

You congresses are great pieces of craftmanship! Congratz on all of them. The only one I own is a nice RR Congress. I gonna make a pic at some time :)

Kind regards
Andi

I've a few Congress, Böker, CASE, RR and a Half Congress Northfield. Interesting idea for a knife but never really warmed to them, find them too bulky. Last week I bought a cheap but good RR Mini Congress in Red Bone about 3.25". Now this has really pleased me, a delightful very small and versatile knife. In this case, smaller is better for the Congress.

I only have one Congress pattern, and it is this CRKT:

I haven't used it too much, just a little whittling here and there. I hope to get some more use on it later, but I am still rocking my stockman for the traditional of the month.

Wow, that's a nice looking color orange, even when the light isn't just right! Pretty knife!

The only one I have happens to be my best stag. Carrying it this week while @ the home office. Back to my stockman on Friday :)

That knife is a bit older than 2008. If you are interested in trading it just let me know. I have the same knife in SS. Good loooking knife you have.

First ED, that is a beautiful congress jack, really nice I like the MOP scales, second I need to give you credit for my new Boker congress, after seeing your Case in the first post, I've been casually looking for a congress with 4 different blades ever since, your Case really sparked my interest, I really like stockmans for their utility, but mostly used the sheepsfoot blade at work , but I am finding that I really like the utility of the congress with 4 different blades, two straight edges, & two with point and belly.

Very nice Stich !! Glad I could influence your interest in the Congress pattern.

Stich2442 - I really like that Boker 5474 - having 4 different blade types on a Congress is a great idea, wish more makers would do that.

Pete, your #62 Courthouse Whittler is just beautiful!! Everything about that knife sings.

Thanks my friend as you know my wife & daughter treat me very well.

Ed, thanks, it's a pattern I sort of didn't think about much anymore, but after you posted your Case I kept a eye out, now that I've been carrying it for about two weeks I cannot deny its versatilely, at 4 1/4" it can handle any task, especially with the choice of for different blades.

I agree with you also Jwren, more cutlers should offer a congress with 4 different blades, I'm finding it more versatile than a stockman, never thought I'd say that but it is a great setup for all around utility.

I will get a pic of mine when I get off work. It is a 2001 Case XX Congress with Barb Wire Bone handles. Love it.

It's taken me a while to warm up to Congress styles, but once it "clicked" I've come to really like them. The #61 is hardly noticeable in my pocket and the blade combo just works.
