Considering a 120BKS or 124 Frontiersman

Wood Splitter , that's a great pic. Gorgeous couple of knives there.

I'm going to buy both the 120 and 124. I'll prob buy one at a time so I can obsess over each of them equally 😊

Sounds like a plan to me:thumbup: Be careful though, Bucks are like potato chips... It never stops at just one or two!

In fact, I just left the store with this little guy... :D

I have the 120 Cocobolo and the 124 as well. I love both knives very much. With my vast collection of fixed blades from old Westerns to Bark Rivers I absolutely love my Bucks! The 124 is a beast and it feels great in hand.

Yep, me too. I like the square frame handle and blade shape of a 124. So, don't let that turn you away. Some pick over it, others like it.? DM

I notice you've dropped the 119 from consideration. The 119 is my most used field knife. Big blades have their place but for everyday tasks I prefer the 119

I just ordered a brand new 124. I'm very excited ! I didn't realize these were limited edition knives. A lot of places are sold out. But I got one 😃

DDDWho , I absolutely like the 119 and I plan on picking one up soon. I'm just in the market for a bigger blade right now.

Also , I can see myself becoming addicted to buying the different versions of this Buck fixed blade (119 , 120 , 124 etc). Is this how it starts ? Haha.

Well , I'm glad that we all share the same affliction 😊

Also , has anyone bought a Buck off of that big website named after that big river ? This is my first knife purchase from there.

Yes, I have and have been pleased. I have learned to go ahead and pay for shipping as their free shipping items are packed on an old burro who needs to stop often for water. DM

Haha , yes I hear those donkeys work up quite a thirst 😊

I have Prime so I get free 2 day shipping. Great perk.

How often does Buck come out with "limited edition" fixed blades ?

Also , when did the 119 and the 124 first debut ?

Update : I just received my new 124 in the mail today and all I have to say is "wow". This knife is gorgeous. The knife is flawless in every way. Super sharp blade. Handsome finish. Sturdy design with some nice heft. Good-looking handle with full tang and double pin construction. Nice sheath too. What an awesome knife. I love it !
