Constant trade offers to people that don't want trades. Consensus?

This right here^^^

You don't list your terms clearly. You are not saying no trades. Further, you should read the last thread talking about the term "net". Lastly, you specifically ask for friends and family payment. You will be going on my ignore list.

I don't know how i'll ever sell a knife again with out you. Frankly I get each side of the story when. It comes to PP. Regarding my previous threads, I never stated that I wouldn't entertain trades in those threads therefore I made no expectation. The one I'm referring to, I did. Simple!

You are directly asking people to help you violate Paypal's terms. You are complaining about trade offers even though your threads do not exclude trade offers. Am I missing something?

Do not respond to unwelcome offers. Ignore them. If they PM, email, or Visitor Message, delete them. The less attention you pay them, the less damage they do to your sale.

IF they go on at length with specific offers, Report Post and ask us to clean up the thread. Of all the nuisance jobs moderators can take care of, this is about the easiest and most satisfying. :p

^^^ This. Not responding is the best way to deal with such situations. While we cannot control what others do and do not, we can certainly control our response. Ignore them, and they'll go away. :-)

Posting a trade offer in a thread that specifies "No Trades", is just plain disrespectful. Who would want to do business with a person like that? I would prefer that they send an email, rather than mess up the thread, and even if they are that hell bent on trading, I would just politely decline again.

I've always listed it up front . If someone asks me I'll decline especially if I put no trades.

If the same person keeps doing it I'll ignore them and block their email from my inbox.

The only exception to this is if I known the seller and I know I have something they really want or looking for . Again not just any member here . I'll tell them hey I've got a xxx you've been looking for if your interested

What's worse for me is not a trade offer in a no trades sell ad. What gets me everytime is the I'll take it in my sales thread . Then responding to the person saying I'll take it they let me know that they only have x amount of cash and want to make the rest up with whatever knife.

Just say a polite "no" and move along. It is not a big deal to me if someones asks.

I'm always polite even when someone is really annoying. I had a person tell me I was crazy for not wanting his 3 for 1 trade as his knives equaled $100 more than my asking price.
