Hi,

Has anyone had problems contacting Knifeworks lately? I have a Kershaw 0550 and a KW exclusive BM AFCK on order with them since May and there has been no communication since I last paid for the balance for the BM. I tried emailing Roger and Anna but there hasn't been any reply and since I'm not in the US calling is not an option.

Me...
They are probably busy, because they used to reply within 24 hours before.

i emailed them on saturday about the new zt 551 and they replied first thing monday morning ... also bought a knife on Thursday and it was shipped Friday coming tomorrow.. everything was a okay for me.

I've emailed Roger, Anna (cust service rep) and the usual main email... I'm going to give it a few more days. They emailed to ask for the remainder for the pre-booking and I paid but there wasn't even a response after I paid other than an invoice from PayPal.

I just emailed them a couple of weeks ago to thank them for doing such a great job one evening and Ashley replied the first thing in the morning to thank me.Since you mention that you have two items on pre-order.I'mguessing they'd be checking their records.

No problem I'm aware of.
I emailed them a question yesterday and got a response fairly quickly.

Check your spam filter.

I've always received very fast replies to emails to KW, too. Like mqqn said, check your spam filter/junk mail folder to see if a reply mistakenly ended up there.

The limited edition M390 steel AFCK's have been pushed back to September at this point. That's the last update and it's on the Knifeworks website now under the 806-1101 item descriptions. No idea about the other one. I've always had fast response from Knifeworks, you may be getting caught in their spam filter or they are way busy.

I hope so... It's been a couple of days.
The AFCK has been delayed until the end of September I think. i also have one on order. As far as concerns, no need. Roger is as straight up as they come and he is not going anywhere. Be patient, they will reply. If you are very concerned, you best find a way to make a phone call. I'm fairly certain a call that takes a couple minutes is signifiantly less money than a new knife at any price.

Knifeworks sent me the wrong knife two weeks ago. I called the day i got it and I was emailed a shipping label for return and I got the knifeI wanted 4 days after they received my item. Overall great experience and I'm impressed with their customer service. I'm sure they will take care of you.

They usually return messages withing 24 hours, I recently ordered something was not in stock and Ashley called me within a very short time.

Generally, they are quick to respond. Though, recently, I've noticed that some responses have been delayed or, in one case, not at all. But I emailed them again and they promptly replied. Personally, I'd just give them a call if you feel the need to know.

If I've noticed anything with KW, it's that they seem not to read everything in the email. Over the years, I've sent requests or inquiries regarding maybe two different knives in one message and they might only respond about one. I noticed it a few times in the past and always disregarded it. But it happened again recently, so decided for future correspondence to just send separate emails if mentioning more than one knife. Just something to note.

They responded and got my ZT0551 today... I'd have to return it though. Deep scratch on the titanium side. Don't know if I need to return it to KnifeWorks or ZT.
