Contego haters, please stand up

Just got my 810 back from Benchmade. Apparently I loved this knife so much that they replaced everything but the blade and scales. They tried to talk me into a new clip, but I refused.

What was the problem?

It looks good all beat up. like a big 4x4 pickup that has desert pinstripes on it.

It had the old style backspacer with some rust spots on it, so they replaced it before it cracked (common with the old type). It also had very slight lock rock, which is now completely gone.

Right? I've tried my darnedest to kill this knife, but it just won't give up the ghost. I'm pretty sure I've sharpened nearly .25" off of the blade so far. The tip is getting awfully "big".

I've owned the 810 Contego twice, and sold it twice. I just absolutely hate the ergonomics and it's THE WORST feeling knife I've ever owned. Most reviews of this knife on the internet is positive, I think mainly owning to the M4 steel and the blade shape. I would love to have BM redesign the handle on this knife.

Anyways, I want to hear from all those who dislike this knife. Please don't post in the thread about how much you love this knife, there are already plenty of love threads out there. I only want to hear from people who have had a negative experience with the 810 like myself.

I love this knife!

Sorry, couldn't help it.

Here's mine. -It's been fixed. Might be my favorite folder I've ever owned.
